Order A Letter

SamaraTo Whom it May Concern:

I am here—ready and willing to help you craft the perfect letter for whatever your situation may be. I have always found letters to be an effective way to give another true insight into your hidden thoughts, or to bring harmony where there is bitterness and even closure where there is emotional chaos. I suggest letters because, unlike the spoken word, the written word goes un-muffled and uninterrupted—expressing a pure, perfect sentiment.

For those of you who can’t imagine what this process is like—it’s completely confidential and very easy.

Step One: Please e-mail me at LetterRequest@gmail.com and put the type of letter you’d like to order in the subject line. Then go on to introduce me to your situation, catching me up on the story-to-date. I will respond to you with any questions I have and we’ll go back and forth until you’re comfortable (all of this is free).

Step Two: Once you’re comfortable and ready you will click here and pay a fee of $50* (through PayPal, a trackable secure server). You then sit tight as I get started on your custom written letter. Once finished, I will e-mail your letter to you and you are welcome to do with it what you like—copy it into your own handwriting, print it out, or forward along as an e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you.

Warmly,
Samara

*P.S. Please Read Before You Order: You may have noticed that I raised my prices. I did not do this to be mean, but I have to make a living :). The price is now a flat fee of $50. I must also ask you to pay in advance. If you are unhappy with your letter then I’ll rewrite it for free. Please keep this in mind also: I once wrote a letter for a woman to give to her boyfriend and she said, “This doesn’t sound like me.” I won’t keep you in suspense; I am completely incapable of sounding like you. What I can do is take your story and give it what Emily Post calls “a fresh turn of phrase,” written in my voice (which I describe as frank and formal). There are sample letters below if you would like to explore my voice further. If you don’t like my voice or think that it just doesn’t sound like you but would still like to write a letter and need guidance—buy the book! In defense of having someone write letters for you: A friend of mine has fond memories of an old college boyfriend who gave her love letters on a regular basis. She knew he wasn’t writing them, but she found the fact that he went to such trouble to have someone write them for her endearing all the same.
